I like preaching, but the sermon form has its limitations.  On this Sunday, May 24th, 2020, we listened to a short story instead: “The Three Hermits” by Leo Tolstoy.  (Listening to this, you can sort of understand why the guy was eventually excommunicated by the Russian Orthodox Church!)
