Doorknob Prayer

God, through this doorway let me see
The path that you prepare for me,
And on that path, Christ give me grace,
To find your light in every face.

Switching-On Prayer

I flip this switch, night turns to day,
And by this light, two things I pray:
Please grant me grace, O Light Divine,
By you to see, and like you, shine.

Switching-Off Prayer

I flip this switch, the dark descends,
The peace of heaven earthward bends,
And worries end, and sorrows cease;
Now in their place, God, grant me peace.
